    Description

    Vintage Hopi Tewa Village earthenware pottery bowl;  Alice Adams signature that was lightly etched or written
    This could be an early work dating circa 1950s - 1960s
    The bowl seems to be made from a yellow type clay; the outside of bowl is burnished
    The design is painted in a dark brown coloring
    At the interior there is, what looks like, a Kachina spirit that is painted off center
    Height  is 3 to 3 1/2 inches (the bowl is higher at one side)
    Width is 8 1/2 inches
    There a chip and some paint loss along the rim  (see last 2 photos)
