This auction is for a very nice vintage Hopi Pueblo hand built / hand coiled pottery bowl created by the renowned potter Lindell Sakwisewoma, her signature on this olla also depicts her figural hair or rabbit. Originates from Polacca Arizona below First Mesa. Using a cloth tape measures the bowl has an 18" circumference (around the bowl), measures approx. 5 3/4" across x 3 3/4" tall. Traditional Hopi Tewa design representations. Bowl has some very minor wear consistent with age, a pin head size very tiny surface fleabite near the rim, nothing that detracts from the beauty or value, only mentioned for 100% accuracy. Interior exhibits an aged surface with some crazing noted. Bowl has been part of a private Native American collection.
