1. VSF are versatile high performance fins that allow a diver to swim faster, further and with less effort than other high quality fins. The fins are excellent for long distance swimming and in currents. Scuba diver's air consumption is substantially reduced for any given swimming distance. 2. VSF fins were developed and tested by using under water speedometers and swimming machine. VSF fins are GUARANTEED to be 14% to 27% faster and 48% to 100% more power efficient than the best selling fins vented, non-vented and split for both snorkel and scuba diving. (Note: Some high tech mono-fins are faster than VSF but cost much more and are not ideal for scuba diving.)
3. Blade swing angle is adjustable to low, medium or high speed settings. Low speed setting is for scuba diving to give higher fin thrust to counter act higher water drag caused by scuba gear. High speed setting is for snorkel diving to give higher speed at same kicking rate when diver is wearing minimum gear and has lower water drag. Medium speed setting is for intermediate water drag diving conditions.
4. Changing blade settings also allows a diver to set kicking effort to his or her personal comfort level.
5. Open blade design allows fins to cut through water in both up and down kicking strokes.
6. The fins have equal thrust in both up and down strokes (no loss of power on return stroke).
7. Patented dolphin shaped hydrofoil blades give high thrust with minimum kicking effort.
8. The blades are hinged and flip back and forth into a driving position with very little effort.
9. Because the blades are hinged the feet and toes do not have to bend with the fins and relieves much of the foot flex and strain.
10. To a diver the fins have a quick easy kick. There is no sluggish bending of blade material as on standard flex fins.
11. Adjustable heel straps fit sizes 7 to 12 with wet suit boots on. Straps now have pull cords for easy slip on and off of straps. (It is recommended to wear wet suit boots for more foot comfort.)
12. Fin length is 18" (not counting strap) and blade is 11" wide.
