    arcella Yepa is a member of the Sun Clan, from Jemez Pueblo in New Mexico. Her aunt Alvina Yepa showed her how to handbuild traditional coil pottery, and Marcella has created Jemez pottery for about 25 years.  Marcella's pieces focus on hand coiled swirling and melon designs in a beautiful pinkish clay or an apricot colored clay.
    This vase or seedpot measures about 3 1/2 inches wide x 3 1/2" high and 2 3/4" deep and is a beautiful pinkish clay color with a swirling melon pattern on the front.  It is in excellent condition with no blemishes or cracks or chips.  The piece is signed on the bottom "Marcella Yepa Jemez".
