LARGE OLD ANTIQUE ORIGINAL NATIVE AMERICAN PUEBLO POTTERY BOWL 8" TALL. Up for sale is a great old large Native American Pueblo pottery bowl. The bowl I believe possibly could be Acoma in origin but I am no expert. The bowl I'm going to say is 8 1/2" tall, between the base and the top rim not being exactly level the 8 1/2" is an average height. It has an opening of 6 1/4" and is 10 1/2" across the widest portion. The base of the bowl is concave and not flat. It kind of looks like at some point in time that the base was attached to some type of material for it to set on. Some kind of old residue that I din not want to try to clean off is around the edges. Originally purchased out of a large collection of Native American items in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The bowl does show it's age with blemishes to the finish.
