This all traditional hand coiled and shaped, hand painted piece by Alicia Chino measures approximately 5.5 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter.  Constructed with field gathered local clays and natural vegetal paints, impeccably and symmetrically painted, incised at the rim while the clay was wet, then fired.
Alicia Kelsey Chino (Native American, Acoma Pueblo, b. 1979) is a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel J. White. She learned to make pottery from her mother. She is known for her traditional style designs.
This piece is in excellent condition - no cracks, no scrapes, no spalls, no chips..
